A buddy of mine that me and Steve went to school with, though Steve wouldn’t know him due to the fact that he was a strings geek like me, has authored a truly amazing plugin for Firefox called ArchiveFacebook. Stemming from the question “What happens when Facebook is gone”, Carl Northern, now a software developer, has made it possible to archive your Facebook account to your hard drive, thus ensuring that if your data comes up missing, not only does Facebook suck for it, but it’ll be your fault as well for not backing it up. My Space Suicide

Megan MeierThis is kind of old news…well really old news becuase it happened in 2006, but it seems that in September of that year somone made a My Space account to find out what a 13 year old girl was saying about their daughter. Yup, an ADULT made an account to gain a young teenager‘s trust. The mother’s name is Lori Drew and the girl’s was Megan Meier. That’s right, I said was…she commited sucide because of all of this shit. (more…)
