In several posts, I’ve alluded to the fact that Steve and I are getting back in to reading comics. After reading a couple, we also decided that we might want to try our hand at creating them. Here’s one based on an idea that Steve had after watching a SAW movie, with a hint of Christmas cheer written and drawn by the both of us…
We may do more in the future, but I don’t know…it would be pretty neat to make it a kind of monthly feature type deal here. And don’t forget to comment here to tell us what you think of it. Comments received may persuade us one way or the other to continue with it.
My procrastination almost made me miss a concert tonight that I have been counting down the days until for over three months. I have been anxiously awaiting the Devil Wears Prada, All That Remains, and Story of the Year show since the day it was announced. Unfortunately, when I went to the Norva today to purchase my ticket I was informed that the show was sold out. I didn’t weep, but I considered it. After basically giving up on the idea of going, I thought of one last ditch effort to possibly get to the show…Craig’s List. (more…)
May you rest in peace you little shit head. From the first time I saw you until the last, you were a good friend. We had some very interesting moments at Pope. Good times, bad times, we were in that shit together. You and a few others are what made it suck so bad to leave that base, man. It’s such a fucking tragedy that you were taken away so young before you got to flex those SSgt stripes…I know you would’ve been a good NCO. I usually keep it light hearted and like to poke fun at seemingly ignorant observations that I make about society; this post is far different. I do not write this post from anywhere positive. I’m going to take a bit of a break from my political articles and slow stuff down a bit and get back to the light-hearted side of myself. As you can probably guess from the name of this one…it’s all about running…and of course, why I hate it.
Now I’ve been running at least 3 times a week for the past 6 months or so and still cannot find it in me to like anything about it. I hear people all the time talk about how it’s something you get used to or I’m told to wait until I start getting that “runner’s high”. Runner’s high, eh? I don’t know shit about it, because if I had ever experienced it, you bet your sweet ass that I’d run everyday just to experience it again. “Spoiler Alert!” Do you ever go to a site to download a movie and the very first review you see says this before the article. Do you every wonder why? Well, I have experienced several instances in the past several years that give me an idea with why sites must add this tag to the beginning of every post; people are obsessed with ruining and spoiling the end to EVERYTHING!
Now I just heard about this shit today and the only reason I bring it up is because I actually know this asshole and used to work with him. Normally I wouldn’t give these kind of sick pieces of shit the time of fucking day, but again, I know the guy.
There are a couple things that I would say to this mother fucker if he were standing in front of me right now. First of all I would punch him in the fucking face for liking to look at little kids naked and in sexual situations. This dude actually paid 70 or 80 bucks for a membership to a site that would allow him to look at this shit and I would happily point out to him that looking at grown up porno is mostly free. I think we can all agree free porn is better than not free porn. Second off, if you read the articles I posted, they say he was on his way to an appointment at the hospital when he escaped…in fucking England! I mean come on, you are in a foreign country and they took your passport…where do you think you’re gonna go? (more…)
Steve and Chris started thingsthatpissusoff.com several years ago and was unfortunately shut down after only one year. MSF.com is an ongoing attempt to sort of "re-live" those days, but, at the same time, bring better writing and solid articles to the table. Feel free to comment on anything posted here because that's essentially what the site is here for. If you'd like to post your own articles to MSF.com, all you have to do is ask. Also, the ads shown on this site don't necessarily reflect MSF views or beliefs. They are semi-random and based on key words I think.
