The Great Healthcare Debate

The healthcare issue is something that’s hotly debated between Steve and I and all across the country. Being balls deep in a Sociology degree, Steve loves to challenge my beliefs and opinions and this issue always seems to creep up when we are discussing government. I usually hold steadfast in my belief that healthcare, at least the insurance part, should be privatized, but two things besides Steve being a smart ass bag caught (or were brought to) my attention to make start thinking otherwise.

Pedophile UPDATE

Why Big Government Is Stoopid Part 1-Bailouts

This was going to be one big long post, but after I started writing the bailouts section, I realized it would get way too big to read in one sitting. So here it is, WGIS Part 1-Bailouts.

On the subject of bailouts…why the fuck am I paying to bail companies out? If a company goes down because of poor management, decline in sales or any other reason, why should the taxpayers be forced to give them money to stay afloat? That’s not my problem unless I have a vested interest in the company. I drive a Honda so why should I give two shits about GM? A lot of businesses have come and gone…so what. That is the nature of business. Starting a company is like gambling-sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. It’s a risk you take when starting one. (more…)

The Great American Tea Parties

First let me say that this rant will not be about whether or not I agree with why these “parties” were put together, because trust me, that shit is coming in my “Why Big Government is Stoopid” post. This is going to be more about the news coverage of said gatherings.

Pedophile

Now I just heard about this shit today and the only reason I bring it up is because I actually know this asshole and used to work with him. Normally I wouldn’t give these kind of sick pieces of shit the time of fucking day, but again, I know the guy.

There are a couple things that I would say to this mother fucker if he were standing in front of me right now. First of all I would punch him in the fucking face for liking to look at little kids naked and in sexual situations. This dude actually paid 70 or 80 bucks for a membership to a site that would allow him to look at this shit and I would happily point out to him that looking at grown up porno is mostly free. I think we can all agree free porn is better than not free porn. Second off, if you read the articles I posted, they say he was on his way to an appointment at the hospital when he escaped…in fucking England! I mean come on, you are in a foreign country and they took your passport…where do you think you’re gonna go? (more…)
