There is a new category here at MSF, “Geek Stuff.” In honor of this new category, I want to speak on the game that I have been waiting years for…Final Fantasy 13. I was first introduced to this amazing RPG series years and years ago when I played Final Fantasy 3, which to this day is one of the best RPG’s of all time. Since then I have been a Final Fantasy nerd who anticipates each installment like it is a personal present from Square.
For those of you who are not familiar with this truly amazing game, let me explain why Final Fantasy 13 is so important. (more…)

Like most nerds in my high school, I was always trying to figure out ways to get the best performance out of my PC. At that time, I didn’t have a lot of funds available to upgrade the hardware in my system, so imagine my excitement when I learned that there were more streamlined operating systems that demanded far less of my system resources than the current version of Windows (’98 I think).
I took my first trek into the world of Linux back in 2000 with a distro called Mandrake. I had such a hard time (more…)

We here at MSF don’t normally do tutorials, but due to my recent excursion into the awesome world of Ubuntu, one of the most popular flavors of Linux, and my love for Windows games, I wanted to share some of the knowledge I have gained in trying to get both Ubuntu 9.10 and Windows 7 to live in complete harmony on two different hard drives inside my computer.

YouTube is an excellent website, it really is.
Yesterday I got to sit down and watch a live press conference held by Google, on YouTube which is why I mentioned it, to announce the release of their new social networking tool aptly named Buzz. It should, however, come as no shock that the new Buzz isn’t really anything new at all, but an almost carbon copy of Facebook and to a lesser extent, Twitter.
The way Google explains it, Buzz will allow Gmail users (more…)

About MSF.com
Steve and Chris started thingsthatpissusoff.com several years ago and was unfortunately shut down after only one year. MSF.com is an ongoing attempt to sort of "re-live" those days, but, at the same time, bring better writing and solid articles to the table. Feel free to comment on anything posted here because that's essentially what the site is here for. If you'd like to post your own articles to MSF.com, all you have to do is ask. Also, the ads shown on this site don't necessarily reflect MSF views or beliefs. They are semi-random and based on key words I think.
