I’m done…I can’t sit here and be part of an organization that is as hypocritical as the fucking Republican Party. What happened to the kind of politicians that wrote the Declaration of Independence? Where’s the honor in public service these days? Moderns politicians don’t give a rat’s ass about the people, as in us, they are supposed to be working for. That’s right, I said working for. Those assholes work for us, not the other way around.

Sure, they pass laws that help out the ordinary citizens like me and you, but look closer at things and you’ll see that it all comes back to either money or power or both. Where’s the money and power for us? Last time I checked the US of A was a republic or, more specifically, a federal constitutional republic. In case you don’t know what a constitutional republic is, wikipedia.org has spelled it out for us:

“A constitutional republic is a state where the head of state and other officials are elected as representatives of the people, and must govern according to existing constitutional law that limits the government’s power over citizens. In a constitutional republic, executive, legislative, and judicial powers are separated into distinct branches and the will of the majority of the population is tempered by protections for individual rights so that no individual or group has absolute power. The fact that a constitution exists that limits the government’s power makes the state constitutional. That the head(s) of state and other officials are chosen by election, rather than inheriting their positions, and that their decisions are subject to judicial review makes a state republican.”

Does that sound like the current state of the government? Fuck no. With every President, Republican and Democrat alike, the government grows bigger and bigger. You know why? Because the Constitution is considered outdated and in need of modernizing. We let them walk all over it like it doesn’t mean shit. Fuck that. The Founding Fathers knew how things would go down if the government was allowed to rule every aspect of someone’s life. That’s one of the reasons Europeans came here in the first place and why the Constitution was written – to give power where it belonged…the people.

You know what the really sad part is? It’s our own fault. We are the ones doing the electing. We have let our government feel like they need to help us out with every little fucking problem we have.

We elect people, like Republican Governor Mark Sanford of South Carolina, who think that they can do whatever the fuck they want, whenever they want. Gov. Sanford was busted cheating on his wife after he told family and friends that he was hiking in the Appalachians. Want to guess where he really went? He went to Argentina…to fuck his mistress. He got caught because a reporter spotted him in an airport he wasn’t supposed to be in had he actually been hiking where he said he was. Oh and this was also one of the guys that made a hard push to impeach Clinton for doing exactly the same thing.

And it’s not just him…it’s most of these politicians. They think they can fuck up and get off with an apology. “I’m sorry” doesn’t cut it. “I’m sorry” doesn’t un-fuck all the things you fuck up. “I’m sorry” doesn’t fix public perception of your office. “I’m sorry” doesn’t mean a fucking thing to anyone no matter how many fake tears you shed while saying it on TV.

WAKE THE FUCK UP PEOPLE!

It’s time to take back the principles on which this great nation was founded. It’s time to take back the White House, Congress, the Senate and the fucking Supreme Court. No government knows what’s better for you than you do. Stop acting like children and take responability for your own actions. Stop thinking that government has the responsability to fix all of your problems – they don’t. When it all comes down to it, government doesn’t owe you a fucking thing over what the Constitution says it does (i.e., it doesn’t tell the President to help you pay for a house you had no buisness buying in the first place).

With that being said, I implore you to stop voting on the premise of race; stop voting on the premise of religion; stop voting on the premise of sex; stop voting on the empty fucking promises we are fed each and every election day that have yet to be delivered to us! Vote on character; vote on principles; vote on honor and substenance and most importantly vote to get the power back were it belongs…WE THE FUCKING PEOPLE!

Please exercise your freedom and your right to vote. Now is a time in which politics will affect each and every one of us in a way that has not been seen since President Franklin D. Roosevelt‘s New Deal. Please help get the nation back on track by voting these peices of shit out of office. It’s time we metaphorically lit a match and started over…
