Memorial Day is a day that we step back and honor those who have fought and died in the service of their country. Since the days of Woodrow Wilson, the current President has laid commemorative wreaths on the memorials for our fallen brothers and sisters in arms. This past Memorial Day a group of about 60 liberal-minded dickhole professors thought it’d be nice to send a message to Obama giving reasons why he should not honor the soldiers that fought on the side of the Confederacy during the Civil War…why? As I was perusing the Washington Times this morning, I came across this little gem. As a veteran myself, it pisses me off to no end that a fucking racist, America hating organization is again sticking its nose where it doesn’t belong.
Let me set this up for you in case you don’t want to read the article. There is a 7-foot cross standing in a desert in California and the ACLU says that it is offensive to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in battle because it honors Christianity and not any other religion. This is kind of old news…well really old news becuase it happened in 2006, but it seems that in September of that year somone made a My Space account to find out what a 13 year old girl was saying about their daughter. Yup, an ADULT made an account to gain a young teenager‘s trust. The mother’s name is Lori Drew and the girl’s was Megan Meier. That’s right, I said was…she commited sucide because of all of this shit. (more…)

I have yet another semester of college getting ready to start so I will probably be relatively busy here in the near future. As a result, I want to take this time to write a lengthy article that will probably attract more attention than anything we have written so far. I tend to get my ideas for these posts from topics that are being discussed around me. Often times I have an opinion on the issue at hand, but for whatever reason may not partake in the conversation. One such topic that has been being discussed at great length recently is gay marriage and the debate of whether or not it should be legal. This subject needs to be put to rest because there is only one right answer. It is not an opinion; it is a social fact that must be accepted for our culture to advance, gay rights need to be afforded and sightless bigotry needs to cease. (more…)

Since the SteveV2.0 threw me the bone, I’ll take it…This whatever-the-fuck-you-want-to-call-it will be about the state of modern horror cinema. I’ll talk on the two things about modern horror movies that piss me off the most: remakes and gore-nography. I know what you may be thinking…out of all the shit I could say about this genre of movies, I had to pick these two points. Well my rebuttle is simple – when you sit down to watch a horror movie you should expect two things (three if it’s a sequel) – Bad acting, huge plot holes and, if it’s a sequel, terrible continuity from the previous movie.
